Approaching the new year 2024, together with our children we went on holiday to Malang from Jakarta. We deliberately chose the time to go on holiday before New Year, because we wouldn't have to worry about traffic jams on the roads if we went on holiday during the peak holidays.
From Jakarta Airport to Malang Airport, we were picked up by airport transfer to the hotel.
That night we immediately went to sleep, because tomorrow at 03.00 in the morning we will be picked up by Jeef to Mount Bromo for a tour.
At 03.00 we departed from the hotel in Malang city towards Mount Bromo with a travel time of around 2 hours through the hills on a winding road. Arriving at the top of Mount Bromo we enjoyed sunshine for about 1 hour starting from 06.00 to 07.00. God's creation is truly amazing, the sunrise above the peak of Mount Bromo is very beautiful to the eye. With an extraordinary cold level of 5 degrees Celsius, we had to wear two thick jackets with head coverings. But my children feel normal and they even jog around. I don't know what he felt, while I was shivering with cold.
After that, return to Jeef to carry out our adventure trip in the Mount Bromo area, namely to Teletubis Hill, Pasir Berbisik, and the temple area near the Bromo crater, etc. We spent about 2 hours at these its tourist attractions while taking photos. Unfortunately, our shots were accidentally deleted in our cellphone files.
Because we were finally hungry while heading back to the hotel, in the middle of the road we ate at a simple restaurant and the prices were very cheap. We ate with gusto because since morning we had only eaten bread and instant noodles at the peak of Mount Bromo.
