How to save holiday to Jakarta

Jakarta is the capital of the Republic of Indonesia and is the center of government, business, politics and culture. Jakarta is famous for its glorious development and being a gathering place for various ethnicities, cultures, religions and other diversity in Indonesia.


Jakarta has many interesting things for tourists to explore. Starting from city tourism, natural tourism, cultural tourism, religious tourism, shopping tourism, exhibition tourism, and so on, Jakarta has even become a culinary paradise for its lovers. Talking about facilities, Jakarta has a variety of tourist facilities, from five-star hotels to B&Bs, so tourists can feel like they are "locals" in Jakarta.


As a Jakartan, I can tell you that going to Old Jakarta is boring when I don't have much time but want to have a picnic. But Old Town Jakarta is one of my favorite places in Jakarta. I always loved the architecture of old buildings and imagined what life was like during colonial times. It's so versatile!

You can start your route after a walking tour of Monas, where you can visit not only Monas overlooking Jakarta from above, but also the "National Museum or Gacha Museum", Galeri Nasional, Masjid Istiqlal and Katedral, Gedung Kesenian Jakarta, Pasar Baru, and also visited the Jakarta Governor’s Office in Balai Kota over the weekend.
