To Announce plans for the development of the Hard Rock Hotel Long Beach
Hard Rock International is partnering with Steinhauer Properties to announce plans for the development of the Hard Rock Hotel Long Beach, a new full-service hotel that will be the first to be built in Long Beach, California in the last 30 years and the first new Hard Rock Hotel in Southern California in nearly a decade. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2024 with a planned opening in the spring of 2027. This luxurious property will become a unique entertainment destination in downtown Long Beach, adjacent to the convention center.

"We are thrilled to expand our award-winning hotel portfolio on the West Coast." he said.
Strategically located between Los Angeles and Newport Beach, the new Hard Rock Hotel Long Beach will rise 31 stories high with easy access to major attractions such as Alamitos Beach, Shoreline Village, Long Beach Cruise Terminal, and the Aquarium of the Pacific.
The property will feature approximately 427 luxurious rooms and suites, including the stunning Rock Star Suite, as well as the highest rooftop bar on the Southern California Coast, offering 360-degree views. Guests will be able to enjoy a range of amenities including an outdoor swimming pool with a deck facility that offers sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, the Body Rock® Fitness Studio, two on-site dining options, and the Rock Shop®, which showcases world-famous merchandise from Hard Rock and other unique items. The new property will also have a unique "speakeasy" with an intimate concert hall that can accommodate around 250 spectators.

The new development is expected to generate approximately 3,600 jobs, many of which will come from labor unions. Around 3,100 positions will be created during the construction, which is set to begin next summer, and approximately 500 permanent positions will be available once the property is operational in the spring of 2027.
